I am offering free Pen & Ink illustrations with an unobtrusive Creative Commons watermark below the image. Please do use my low-res watermarked drawings on the web and help me promote the site.
Keep the requests reasonable.
Reasonable: simple objects, caricatures, low-brow (love low-brow, horror, poster, not opposed to a little nudity), etc….
Unreasonable: your kids, your pets, your aunt Millie, overly complex, perfect copies of currency, ransom notes, porn, drug related, etc…
Requests go in the queue. A list of requests can be found on the Queue page. If the queue gets long, you’ll just have to wait longer. If you want to jump the queue contribute to the beer fund. The bigger the contribution the further you jump. It’s your responsibility to make sure I have enough information to match the request with the contribution. Contributing to the beer fund only moves you up the queue, it does not buy a drawing. I’m not a minor, far from it, so while you may be contributing to my delinquency you won’t be doing anything illegal. I’ll post your completed image to the site, so you gotta visit the blog to get it.
Submit your request by clicking the request box, or going to the request page, and filling out the short form. One request per form. You can make more than one request, but don’t bogart the free queue or I’ll move your requests to the bottom or reject them altogether. If you’re contributing to the beer fund in a meaningful way (ie at least a sixer) then request away.
I’ll remove the watermark on any completed drawing for a minimum beer fund contribution of a micro brew six pack. Just use the request form and let me know what image you want unwatermarked and what you contributed.
If you want hi-res or originals for anything I’ve already drawn, or want to commission a custom drawing I’ll be glad to provide a quote.
I reserve the right to deny any request and stop offering free illustrations at any time. I am licensing the images on the blog under Creative Commons Share Alike, but I retain the right to resell larger formats of my work on stock sites, as electronic copies, prints, or originals.
Finally, you can’t resell my work as is, list it on stock sites, or use it in large print runs without my consent. You may not crop out the watermark without paying to have it removed. Please be considerate and respectful of my time and effort. I often spend many hours or days on a drawing, even a free one.
